Sui gas one unit is  RS 1900 to RS 4200 per MMBTU.Sui Northern Gas is mainly used for domestic and commercial purposes. Many gas consumers want to know the price update.   • Private offices, companies, and similar businesses

Industrial Consumers

This category includes all consumers who use gas to turn raw materials into finished products, no matter how much gas they use. However, it does not include industries that have been given a special or separate gas rate.

  • Minimum Monthly Charges: RS. 35,540.00

General industry (Dedicated)

This applies to those factories or industrial units that generate their own electricity to use for themselves. If they have extra electricity, they can also sell it to a power company or a large electricity user.

  • All gas usage is charged at a fixed rate of Rs. 3,000.00 per MMBTU.
  • Minimum monthly charges: RS. 36,653.00.

For CNG

  • Flat rate. 3,750.00 per MMBTU
  • Minimum Monthly charges  RS. 46,229.00 per month

FOR Cement

  • Flat rate: Rs. 4,400.00 per MMBTU
  • Monthly minimum charges: RS. 45,588.90 per month

ICE FACTORIES

  • flat rate of Rs. 3,900.00 per MMBTU
  • Monthly minimum charges amount to RS. 6,415.00.

FERTILIZER COMPANIES:

Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited:

Flat rate of Rs. 1,597.00 per MMBTU for the gas they used 

Power Stations (WAPDA and KESC):

For electricity utility companies:

  • Gas Rate: RS. 1,050.00 per MMBTU.
  • Minimum Monthly Charges: RS. 28,898.00

Independent Power Producers:

  • Gas Rate: Rs. 1,050.00 per MMBTU for all gas off-takes.

How can I calculate my Sui Gas bill per unit?

You calculate the Sui gas bill per unit by following these steps: Check your consumption from your bill, it’s given in HM³( Hundred cubic meters. )Multiply the gas usage by the pressure factor and the calorific value. Then use this formula

Gas in MMBTU = HM3 ×Calorific Value×Pressure Factor​➗281.738

. After getting usage in MMBTU that multiply by the current tariff rate. MMBTU stands for million British thermal units.

How to convert MMBTU to units?

You have to use the formula to convert the MMBTU to units

Gas volume is usually presented as HM3 on the bill

Apply formula 

MMBTU = Gas volume (HM3) ×Calorific Value×Pressure Factor ➗ 281.7385

Calorific Value:  it’s usually around 950–1,050 BTU/cf and varies according to different regions

Pressure Factor:  ~1.01325 (standard), and it’s also mentioned on the bill like other components.

Consumers are considered protected consumers if their gas consumption is less than 0.900 hm kWh over the last four months of winter.

SHBG stands for special high burden gas tariff, and it applies to you when your consumption rate is above 4 HM³/month then you are shifted to the SHBG category due to a high gas consumption rate.

You have to pay the late payment tax due to missing the deadline.
